If you’ve ever felt the need to step away from your busy day, reconnect with nature, or simply get your body moving, you’re not alone. In our fast-paced lives, it can be difficult to carve out time for ourselves—to breathe, to reflect, to walk. That’s why I’m inviting you to walk with me.
As part of my passion for encouraging wellness, mindfulness, and movement, I’ve created the Walk with Harper series—a collection of 5-to-20-minute guided video walks designed to motivate, inspire, and get everyone moving. These walks are accessible to anyone who joins our website’s free membership plan, and they are your opportunity to reconnect with yourself and the world around you.
Why Walking? Why Now?
I believe that movement—especially walking—has the power to transform our lives in simple yet profound ways. Walking, especially outdoors, has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, boost creativity, and even enhance cognitive function. It’s a gentle, accessible way for anyone, regardless of fitness level, to take steps—literally and figuratively—toward a healthier and more peaceful life. And yes, even 5-minute walks count!
In our busy lives, we often overlook the importance of moving our bodies and connecting with the world around us. Whether you’re overwhelmed by work, parenting, or life’s daily challenges, I encourage you to take a pause. Walking allows you to reset mentally, physically, and emotionally. It doesn’t have to be long or complicated. In fact, just 5-20 minutes can make a world of difference—and that’s where Walk with Harper comes in.
Join My Video Walks: Accessible to Everyone who Joins for Free
The Walk with Harper series is a collection of guided walks through beautiful trails, paths, and natural environments. Wish to reconnect with nature but live in urban settings.
Need a quick reset and mental recharge.
These walks are available to all members of my website, including those who sign up for the free membership plan. Whether you’re a seasoned walker or just starting, these 5–20-minute walks are designed to be accessible, inspiring, and enjoyable for everyone.
Explore and Contribute to the Trails and Paths List
Once you join the Walk with Harper community, you’ll gain access not only to the video series but also to a growing list of trails and paths from around the U.S. and across the globe. This resource is designed to help you find new places to explore, whether you’re traveling or looking for a local trail to walk on your own.
But that’s not all—I invite you to contribute to this list by adding your favorite trails and paths! Share your experiences, upload images, or link to your favorite hiking spots. Together, we’re building a community resource that connects us to beautiful natural spaces all over the world.
Harper’s Vision for a Global Trails List - My hope is to create a global list of trails by the end of 2025, one that includes contributions from all of you. Whether it’s a quiet nature path near your home or a famous hiking trail abroad, I want this list to be a reflection of the diverse landscapes and experiences that bring us peace and joy. Every contribution helps expand our community’s reach, inspiring others to get outdoors and discover new places.
What to Expect from Each Walk
When you join me for a walk, you can expect to experience a variation and combination of any of these:
Motivation and Encouragement: I’ll guide you through each walk, offering words of encouragement and motivation. Whether it’s your first time walking in a while or part of your regular routine, you’ll feel supported and inspired every step of the way.
Beautiful Natural Scenery: Each video is set in a different natural location, from serene forest trails to peaceful lakesides. The beauty of nature will help you unwind, destress, and find peace, even if you can’t step outside.
Mindfulness and Presence: These walks aren’t just about physical movement; they’re about being present in the moment. As we walk, I’ll encourage you to engage your senses—notice the sounds of birds, the rustle of leaves, and the feel of the earth beneath your feet.
Connection: Walking is a simple yet powerful way to reconnect with yourself and the world around you. These walks are a reminder that no matter how hectic life gets, you can always take a moment to ground yourself in nature and in movement.
Walking as a community
I believe that walking is even more powerful when we do it together. That’s why I’m building a community around the Walk with Harper series—a place where we can encourage each other, share our experiences, and celebrate the small victories of movement.
As a free member, you’ll have access to all the Walk with Me videos and the trails and paths resource. You’ll also be able to contribute your own favorite walking spots and experiences by uploading images or sharing links. Together, we’re creating a vibrant community that celebrates the joy of movement and the beauty of nature.
